Banned on CS; what to do?

someone help me...its saying that i was banned for past cheating violations,
and will not allow me to join. does anyone know if they ban ip addresses,
or just player id's? any way i can get back in without having to buy a new
game? thanks in advance

p.s. please spare us all the childish flames like i say in the game I
DON'T HACK!!!

20,000 cs servers, surely you can find another server, or mail the admin
of the server your banned on.

Were you banned from a secure or insecure server? If it was a secure
server, VAC got you for either having cheat software on your computer or you
got caught in a glitch that banned several thousand players recently. If
you are truly innocent, go to www.steampowered.com and look around for the
thread that tells you what to do. Don't try to BS them though, it will
never work.
