I don't think you understood my comparison. I did not say they are socialism in motion, I said they represent negative aspects that are often the consequence of socialist policy. The limiting of freedom's such as what Apple does to people who buy their products, and the limiting of privacy that Google does when you use any of its services.

I then went on to attribute them for poor job creation, education, and technology. When it comes to creating jobs and being a large corporation, they create relatively little and most of it is in foriegn countries. This compared to Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle who predominantly hire within the US. In technology they are also lagging behind the ever increasing power other firms can pull out of products based in large by their limited hiring practices compared to other tech firms and the closed nature Apple utilizes. Then onto education, they offer very little as a learning platform as Apple excels itself on ease of use, and Google really does not target education.

Honestly, the average forum reader here isn't very bright. They bite like rabid dogs at anything anti-Apple, and their keeper just keeps feeding it to them. It's pathetic to see, and a sad commentary on humanity.

Then again, I probably hate Microsoft as much. But, Microsoft has caused more harm than Apple ever could. I say could, not would though. In the same situation, Apple might have been as malicious and destructive. But, at least they can invent things, and create markets. Microsoft can't invent, but instead has killed superior products by abusing monopoly power. Repeatedly.

Not technically relevant - but the first thing I noticed in this video is the fact that everyone hoping to catch his attention is shouting, "Obama! Hey, Obama!" as opposed to, ya know, "Mr. President! Mr. President!"
