That would be plain stupid with players as Ronaldinho and Eto'o in Barca's
squad. My guess is it is just the brit tabloid papers looking for a storry?

well to be honest, racists are never the smartest people in the world.
and a leading spanish reporter (dont have his name handy) wrote a
column for a uk paper the other day, saying that racism is rife in the
spanish game, so it wouldnt surprise me.

I watched the game, but I doubt if I could catch the chantings in
spanish...

No they dont, they are a good team. Barcelona are just a better team, and
they proved it saturday night. There were no racist chants only chants like
the ones we use in england, Surely no one at that game supporting either
side can be racist, both teams have their fair share of ethnic players. Its
just brit papers blowing it out of proportion.

One of the british journos who covers spanish footie said on 5 Live over
the weekend that it's rife throughtout spanish footie, and with
particular reference to the Bernabou Roberto Carlos is always targetted
by his own fans, never mind the away fans.
