Barely getting 40FPS in RTX 2060 at 1080p

Hi,

I have recently bought a RTX 2060 but while playing games like shadow of tomb raider and AC origin i am barely getting 40FPS and it's getting hang in some places too. i am using i7-3770 and 16GB RAM.

Are any cpu cores hitting 100%. That’s quite an old cpu for modern cpu heavy games.

Yap it's hitting 100%.... :/ should i change my heat sink?

You will have to get new CPU, and with new CPU also new motherboard and RAM most likely.

Well you can go either AMD or Intel based build.
It also depends on how much are you willing to spend.

At the moment I am not keen on the i5’s, it’s i7/i9 or Ryzen. When of any of these depends on budget.
