Hi!
So I am currently replaying some "older games" (or at least I'm trying)
Like Far Cry 3 and the older Fallout games - i bought a new graphics card so it should be pretty flawless I thought.
Today I played Far Cry 3 and in some areas the fps drop to 30-40 on ultra. I tried different settings, vsync on and off. No changes.
I uncapped the fps and I reached over 100 fps in some areas but then the random drops happen. I play on an older 60hz 1080p monitor (until i get a new one next month) and I can play more recent games like Dooms at ultra and 200fps solid so that baffles me even more
Can somebody help me? Does anybody know the issue?
My Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (no oc)
GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 1080 Super JetStream (no oc)
Ram: 16GB G.Skill Flare
Mobo: Asus Prime B350M-E
