Barton 2500 Multiplier

I have a Barton 2500 (stock cooling)on an Asus A7N8X20 Motherboard with Pc2700 ram. Now I have upped the multiplyer in the Bios to 11.5 and now my computer shows that I have a 2600. Can I just overclock by using the multiplier only???

Don't fancy changing my FSB!
Also I am assuming that beacuase I can change the Multiplier then my Athlon must be unlocked??

If I can overclock with just the multiplier then what x166 is the max I can go baring in mind Temps??

if U change the multiplier in the BIOS & on reboot it has changed the processor then it is an unlocked one... (check multiplier info in Sisoft Sandra)

Trust me I know what I'm doing... ooops, grab the cat...

Def unlocked then..... Do I Just keep upping the multiplier and test for stability??
