I have the 2500+ barton on pre-order. I wonder if I'll be able to get it up to 2300+Mhz? That would be nice......

after reading that article I would say I would return the barton and get a tbred B 1700+.... and pocket a good bit of money

if you already have a chip around 2ghz....or even lower is fine, id probably wait for athlon64..

I'll keep my Tbred B 1700+ even though 2.1 ghz (XP 2600+) is the best effective overclock I can get. (I can reach 2.25 ghz at 2.15 volt but that's absurd using air cooling).

For the cost of one Barton 2500+ (OEM) I could buy three Tbred 1700+ (OEM).
