base system drivers are not able to be updated automatically ,please help me,its hp pavilion dv4 win 7home premium 64bit

I see you have part of the product model listed but we will need the rest in order to fully help you.

It should be dv4-xxxx (the x's will be the remainder of the product model).

You can usually locate this under the battery or even on the bottom of the computer itself.


You can use either CPU-Z or Speccyhttp://www.piriform.com/speccyhttp://www.piriform.com/speccy to take the guess work out for you.

HI,
here is the link for DV4 64bit. Even though you have windows 7 installed you can still use vista 64bit driver. use the link below download and run the setup.
