Baseline Security Analyzer Hang on checkign for IIS vulner..

Downloaded MBSA a couple of days ago. Was a great help in updating some
critical updates that for some reason could not get done through Microsoft
update. Now however it is freezing up when I run. Have narrowed down to it
choking on the "Check for IIS vulnerabilities". Have tried reinstalling by
running from the website but get a network error about unable to locate a
file in the Temp folder. If I download the file and run it, it installs w/o
any problems but the program still hangs while checking for IIS
vulnerabilities. Suggestions on how to fix? thx.

Torgeir - Thanks but where do I access the
"microsoft.public.security.baseline_analyzer" news group you mentioned. When
I did a search of the microsoft website this newsgroup is the only one I got
that had some reference to MBSA. thanks
