Hi All -

I recently inherited an old alienware computer. It has sentimental value for my wife, so I'm upgrading it for her use.

It currently has a GTX 580 in it, which I understand is limited to driving two monitors.

Would like to swap in a card that would allow for use of three monitors. This is primarily used for web, video viewing, office applications come etc. No gaming.

Can anyone suggest a card That would be good for this purpose? Would like to keep it inexpensive if possible given that the remainder of the setup is aged.

Thanks!

Yea you can but the gtx 1060 only suports digital outputs and the VGA conector is analog, you need a digital to analog converter, it is relatively cheap, around 10-20$. Even if it has the DVI output, this DVI output is only DVI-D (Digital) you cannot use a standard dvi to vga converter, you need an active converter.
