Basic in Widows XP?

My previous O/S, NT4, had a Basic interpreter built in, does Windows XP?

I can't find it in my installation - but the NT version works, just
copy the files over from the NT CD (they may be in a .cab file).

The Basic I have in mind is ot Visual Basic.
