Basic modem and router?

Hello everyone

So I will be getting xfinity 100mbs soon but I dont want to rent theit modem. I have no idea where to start on this.
Can anyone send some links my way on basic to intermediate to pro standard routers and modems?

Budget is around $120.

Get their modem, buy yourself a router.

If you are getting voice you will still need to rent a modem. Otherwise you can buy yourself a Surfboard off Amazon and use it with comcast.
