Batman AC lags on ASUS Laptop A46C, help? answers will be appreciated

-been playing this game on my lappie for a week or two in agony and pain of LAG.
-weirdly it showed 57 average fps on 62 maximum.
-everything is set on low, v-sync turned ON, the rests are set OFF
-have applied 1.01 game update, problem still seems to persist
-bsmoothframerate configured to FALSE, but again no change at all

oh, and btw this here is my laptop specifications:
Intel i3 3217U@1.8 GHz
Nvidia geforce GT 635M 2 GB
4 GB ram
