Question Battery issue

Hello guys, just bought a new battery for my laptop Hp Pavillion 17 g100nv.Thing is that the laptop "see" the battery but not charging it.I tried to close laptop unplug battery and ac power push power button for 15 sec then open again and unistall batteries driver from device manage.Close, plug battery and ac power then open again but the problem didn't solved.If I try to unistall batteries drivers and then immediately search for hardware changes screen goes black and I hear a static noise and then laptop close.

Is it a genuine HP battery?

Might be a circuitry problem with the motherboard. If you can test another OEM battery in the laptop, or confirm the one you're using is good, that would narrow it down to the board.

Most likely the problem. I have lost count of the times I have come across a non OEM batteries that claim to work with a particular model of laptop and doesn’t.
