Have had windows 10 for over a year now, barely any problems. My laptop is a 2016 HP Envy 13, 7th gen i5, 8gb ram, 128gb ssd. Runs super smooth most of the time. But over the last week I have experienced a weird issue where when using my pc on battery, the battery will run down from 100% to 50% at a pretty normal pace (around 2.5 hours medium usage), and then drain from 50% to empty in around 30 mins. It will then shut off. When I plug it in, the battery level goes straight back up to around 50% and it starts charging normally. Any suggestions pls.
by the way, when I take it off charge straight after I plug it in, the battery level remains at around 50%, does not go back to empty
EDIT- have done a battery health analysis recently (last week) and my battery has deteriorated from 45 000 mah to 33 000 mah in 18 months of use
