Do you think a $50 additional for newer ryzen 5 g would be great? I cant find any benchmark on youtube for these 2 as their availability is a factor so I can't really tell, hard for me to find decent CPU benchmark sites
I am planning to build an entry-level gaming pc for my partner, and I am stuck at these ryzen 5s. The reason why we are going for Ryzen 5 pro G series is the powerful IGP that intel can't beat right now, we will use the IGP for now and when the time comes, the release of 4000 series (late 2022- early 2023) I will upgrade my GPU to 4070, and I will give her my old rx 580.
The choices:
5650g ($240) + 120gb Patriot Burst Elite SSD ($20)
4650g ($190) + 480gb Kingston NV1 M2 ($60)
Purpose: Virtual assistant work + Gaming low settings 720p
mid settings 1080p (after she gets my rx 580)
She is not really hardcore gamer, she plays apex, valorant atm, will introduce her to a lot of games in future
Build: These are the best ones at price points i have seen in my local shops, I think I am content in this build
AMD Ryzen 5 pro 4650G or 5650g (I really dont know how these pro Gs are cheap in my country, 5600G is $280)
Gigabyte A520M DS3H AC (wont go for asrock, and lower brand tier mobos. price different is not worth going for)
8gb Kingston Fury Beast RGB 3600 CL17 (surprisingly non rgb is just $2 cheaper)
Kingston NV1 500GB M.2
Cooler Master MWE v2 550W 80+ bronze $55 (hardest one is to look for PSU under 60$ . even at 70$ price range CM MWE is still far the best available in my country . Unfortunately there are no CM whites MWE here )
Upgrades: Q3 2022 - Q1 2023
another 8gb Kingston Fury Beast RGB 3600 CL17 sho she gets 16gb
His radeon RX 580
Seagate 1TB
Budget: This one is really complex, the price difference in my country is really bad.
the original budget was $400. My top is $500, and cant push anymore cause I have to spend another $180 for her peripherals (VA needs) + monitor. If I bought pc in US It would go like $400
