Battlefied 3 Issues

Hi,
Just hooked up my GTX 560ti and played some battlefield 3. The only issue is that i can barely play it on medium settings with a res of 1024x768. This should not be happening i should be able to play on high stteing 1920x1200 easy. Wondering if maybe i should get rid of onboard graphics thanks.

i5 2500k 3.3ghz
gtx 560 ti
8gb ram 1600mhz
z68 motherboard

you plugged your monitor into the gfx card right? yes get rid of onboard gfx. go into BIOS and set Primary Display as PCIE-slot.
