Just bought these upgrades for my new PC. I've been through dozens of posts like this but i dont understand why i can't reach higher fps with this new rig. mostly im between 50-70 fps with ultra settings, resolution scale set to 100%. I got an 1920x1080 ASUS 144hz monitor, which i had hoped to test its full potential on, and i dont understand how people get 150 fps at higher resolutions. Im no brainiac when it comes to this, but is there something im missing? Please please help 🙁

Thank you for the reply :)

Yes, windows is freshly installed, and all the drivers are up to date. And it seems like ajusting the settings wont make much of a difference. Even with 200% resolution scale the fps is pretty much the same. Im having drops down in 40 fps even in close combat, meaning the card dont need to render the entire battlefield. I can try and do some recordings, anything in particular i should record (cpu cores, fans, temps etc.)?

All the cores are enabled

200% resolution scale is essentially running it at 4K. A Titan XP isn't doing 150 fps at ultra 4K.

I was simply saying that even with the resolution scale set to 200% the fps pretty much remains the same.

I just lowered the graphics, put resolution scale back to 100%, turned off AA, lightning quality set to medium and vsync is off. Might have a little boost now, but still i get these 40-50fps drops, and i can feel the stuttering :/ Is there a bottleneck somewhere, seeing that fps is mostly the same even when i change quality settings?

It seems to fluctuate alot, when im monitoring all 8 cpu's they are ofter in the high 90's. Temps are around 50-60c. Im using corsair h100i.

...You scared me with the "high 90's" comment, I thought you were referring to your CPU temp!

If all eight of your cores are hanging around 90% while you're running the game, something else is eating up CPU power and causing the game to basically starve as it tries to run on a CPU that's already loaded down. Check your Task Manager and see what all is using your CPU while the game is running.

Think i found something interesting. The first image is when im playing on a 64-man server, the other is 40.
During the 64 game, the computer was at 100% many times, and the lowest fps drop i saw was 19.
In 40, i was between 65-110, still fluctuating alot, but still very much playable than 64.

But, in the 64 picture, bf is actually using 71,6% while the 40 man game bf is using 80,8%
I dont get it... xD

I can run heaven or 3dmark if you like, which numbers i ought to get with stock settings?

That's still the same performance as an i5 + GTX 1060. Worse if you dropped to 19fps. Something is definitely wrong.

It turned out to be bad SSD's, both actually. Installed everyhing on a single new HDD, and everything runs smoothly. Got the game set to 120fps, and it rarely drops under that :) Thank you all for your thoughts and time on my issue.

Glad you had a happy ending! I would not have guessed multiple bad SSDs.
