Battlefield 1 random gpu spikes cause my fps to drop randomly

I've just gotten bf1 and it mostly runs fine at 60fps constant. But sometimes for no reason my gpu spikes for no reason causing my game to lag. I've not trouble with other games like the witcher as I can play them at max settings . My system has :

GTX 1070 SC

i5 7600k (overclocked to 4.8ghz)

650w psu

8gb ram

If anyone has a solution this would be helpful.

When play battlefield 1 I have random lag spikes it rarely happens but is rather annoying when it does . When I look at the bf1 network graph it shows a sudden spike in the extr offset , does anyone know what causes this? And is there a fix .

8GB of ram is on the edge actually.
I myself has 16GB of ram on my Windows 10 64-bit system.
Now, I have two monitors and my left is the main monitor and the right one is my second and on that one I have CoreTemp gadget and other measurements, to be able to keep an instant control on my pc.

Before I even start BF1 my memory consumption is more than 2.4GB
Now, just for a test I just started up BF1 and waited so I could get into action.
I'm really surprised: more than 8.2GB of my memory is sudden occupied.

And I have seen this things before, that a memory hungry game can consume almost every piece of available memory there are.
; so while this will not be a solution, it will certainly explain it.
Another word is memory leaks.
It means after some hours of gaming I can clearly see that the memory usage goes up with several GB and not only this game, even at COD Infinite Warfare for ex.

Exit from the game and either restart the computer or just restart the game - memory consumption is back to normal.
But this also means that one has to have tremendously lot's of RAM installed.

So, if You are experiencing game lag once in a while, it could depend
on the big memory draft ....
Since then Windows will have to start using its Pagefile.sys on the HDD/SSD which is significant slower than the RAM.

If You have by any circumstances decided before to shut this down, due to an misconception after You got yourself an SSD - I strongly suggest to activate Pagefile.sys

And that recommendation goes for everybody, no matter what how much RAM you have installed.
