Battlefield 3 high CPU usage - AMD Phenom II X4 965 (overpovered from 3,4GHz to 3,8GHz)

Hello, i would like to know why every time a launch bf3 my CPU usage raises to 80% - 90%. I've already tried to clean up my PC but it didnt work (i played it normally abaut 2 months and suddenly this started to happen).

PC specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3,8 GHz
GEFORCE GTX 660
10 GB of ram 1600MHz

That's how it should be. BF3 is pretty CPU intensive.

yes but problem is that the first minute i play normally (60 - 70 fps) and then every 2 sec it drops to 40 and there is a small lag every time between it so it is really disapointing

you said you had no problems for 2 months with the same setup and game?
anyway try using gamebooster
