On multiplayer battlefield 3, it seems like it takes forever to load a map if I choose to join one, and sometimes it never loads. If I just hit the button for quick action, I'm loaded and playing within a minute. Why is this?

Well obviously its going to take longer on the pc since theres no camparison between the pc and ps3 version in the graphics department..but it should take less time than it does. Ive been debating on putting it on my SSD to see if it helps but making sure it doesnt exit the game while im switching maps seems to help out alot. Ive just need to stop fillinf up my SSD with skyrim mods first, lol.

You have Skyrim on an SSD? First-World problems.

How big is your SSD? Trying to decide how jelly I should be.

you'll have the joys of waiting for the 30s countdown to finish for longer then, and join everyone jumping on the spot.

your SSD is bigger than mine. I just bought a 64gb crucial to use as a windows boot and to put a few games on. Ever since i put skyrim on the SSD its never coming off. I barely have time for the loading screens to actually display the text. I still got 15gb left so plenty of room for bf3. But i still wish i bought the 128gb one though. Will buy another one they get a little cheaper since i still have 1 more SSD slot in my case.

Ok well I had a short time of load time for BF3 then since the last few patches it takes a long time. I tried this and it worked.
