Hi everyone, I'm having some issues with my framerate in Battlefield 3, both singleplayer and multiplayer.

I can play Battlefield 4 maxed out, and every other game with better performance than this. I can't get more than 20 fps no matter what settings I play on. This game is literally the only game I have issues with. My specs are as followed;

Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 revision 3.0
AMD FX 8350 @ 4.6 Ghz with h100i
8GB ddr3 @ 1600 Mhz
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 Ghz 2gb VRAM
Coolmax 600w PSU

I am using the latest drivers, everything is uptodate...

Solution
Is V-sync enabled or disabled?
Also, check your video card drivers settings. Check the 3D settings for any anti-aliasing or anything turned on. Let the game handle the settings rather than your graphics card driver.
Lastly, some drivers have pre-configured settings that are used for certain games. Check any games setting list for Battlefield 3 and see what the settings are. I suggest you start by either turning off all 3D enhancements or allowing the game to handle them.

Are your drivers updated. Do you have to many junk files. When you run battlefield do you have to many processors going. Did you try to reinstall it. Is your PC overheating. Do you need too clean your fan. Do you need to clean any part of your PC. Did you put a setting on in that game that your PC can't do. Have you tried Razor Game Booster. Have you defragged battlefield 3. Try some of theses solutions.

Drivers are updated as previously updated, no junk files, nothing else running but the game, already reinstalled and getting the same issue, PC isn't overheating, if it was Battlefield 4 would struggle, too. Just recently cleaned my PC with a big air compressor. Settings are on low. I prefer not to touch RGB because this is the only game that struggles.

Vsync on enabled and disabled gives me the same results. CCC won't open so I'm reinstalling it.

All 3D settings were set to default and allowed to application to handle it. I deleted anything and everything related to ATI/AMD through (C:) AMD, (C:) Program Files and Program Files (x86). I think my CCC beta files were still lingering, running at max settings, 1080p, with 60+ like I should have been, thanks for the help!
