Battlefield 3 Problem/Black Screen On Startup

hey guys today i installed Battlefield 3 and when i start the game it starts but the screen is black, doesnt matter how long i wait the screen stays black unless i alttab or stop the game. Please help me i got a new GTX 460 768MB gpu and i think the game should run normally but it just wont start. every other games works perfect.

uninstall battlefield 3 and reinstall it, i had the SAME exact problem, after reinstalling it, it should work. IF it doesn't, i hate to say it but it may need a format 🙁. but i wish you the best luck that solution will work.

i reinstalled it 3 times for last few days and the only thing is that at start the screen is black then battlefield 3 wallpaper appears (the one with the BTR) and it stays in that wallpaper, i wait but nothing. it just stays in that wallpaper.

It's only on multiplayer? And i had this problem and I formatted my computer and it worked.

oh fuck it. i wont format the drive because of this. i got too much things on my computer reinstalling and downloading will take me days. ill just wont play it.

Right Click on Computer Icon Then Click Properties Left of Windows Click Advanced System Setting on System Properties Window
Click "Advanced " Then on "Performance Click Settings " in "Performance Option" Click on Advanced Here you see option for it
