Battlefield 3 update?

I newly bought my battlefield 3 i and its donwloading 9 gb update and my friend hv bf3 premium so can i get his patch so i hv to not download that much of data and there is xpack 1 and i will get that tooo and my downloading speed is very slow. Guys Please Help

I don't think you can... But it's not going to hurt to try, it might just have all of your freidns' info so it will clash, so it will have his username,class types etc. maybe but try anyway, might work
