Battlefield 4 FPS Drop

Hi there i have a i7 3770k 8gb of corsair vengence ram a gtx 780 and a 144hz monitor and everytime i play bf4 at max settings i get fps drop from 100fps to about 50 anyone know what i need to do to fix this thanks

Are you playing on Ultra 4x MSAA? Are the FPS drops during intense fire fights/a lot going on the screen?

check temp on the cpu and gpu, and check the load % on both when it get down to 50.

Well if you are play multiplayer during CPU intense fights/lots of people around your FPS will drop some. Really not a lot you can do about it other than OC the CPU a bit and maybe get the 50 fps min up to 55-60 fps min.

Yeah im playing it at 4xmsaa and you could say that it is when alot is going on but also when your just running to get in a building. I will try overclocking a little bit to see if it helps

But even if you put it on high it still does for a 300 plus gpu you would think you would get better results

Bf4 Fps drops all the time even if you have a good PC, Gulf of Oman drops fps the most and in particular Op Metro and Locker with that explosions. DICE is working on that. FPS of Bf4 because of Netcode, when 64 players are blowing everything then the servers cant cope with it as tick rate is very low for Bf4 servers, this causes the client to lag and get fps drops.
If you played Bf4 from the launch you already know this. If there is any solution for this problem then please Share. Over million ppl are suffering.

Im only playing on team death match to start as new to battlefield on pc

You will experience some fps drop, nothing to worry about. DICE will fix it.

Thx, this is a very good explanation! I thought it would be something like this, because at the same map I can play minimum 90 FPS and at other times drops to 60 FPS. I have high end CPU and GPU, found that overclocking didn't solve this issue so the problem must be game/server-related...
