Hi ive just bought a copy of battlefield 4 (digital deluxe) when loading up the game in battlelog the game starts in a minimized window. When i click on this window the game comes up but navigating on the menu in the game is very hard and it lags. It takes between 1-2 minutes after clicking on it for the game to load to the next menu. Also when loading the campaign or multi-player the loading menu/ start screen lags ridiculously and i can't even start the campaign or multi-player, the game just gets stuck on the loading screens. It feels like im playing on a pc from 1994. Can someone help ?
Drivers Up to date 344.11 (latest stable build)
Specs
Windows 8
Intel i7 2600k
8gb of ram.
Nvidia Geforce 560ti 1gb of V ram.

you might find that you have antivirus scanning software that is providing full protection including scanning for mapped virtual files. When the software starts up it creates a file in memory but the scan software tries to scan the file as it is being built and causes a nasty lag.

I had this happen on my machine and found that the antivirus software was blocking a games anti hack software from running until it finished the scan. The games anti hack software is not on disk but only exists in a virutal memory mapped file so the antivirus software caused a several minute delay in the game from being loaded.

you can turn off you antivirus scanner and see if your game loads faster.

I think its time to upgrade your GPU.. I have asus hd 7790 1gb, and I got a lot of problem playing BF4 even in 720p much more worst in 1080p. but if I use my Sapphire r9 290 Tri x 4gb. its awesome.

Did you even read his post? He's got MAJOR lags in the main menu of the game, that's about 3-5 fps. I had the same problem and fixed it by disabling Origin in-game.

If you fixed it that way then fine then let him reply. But I also fixed it by upgrading my GPU.
