Battlefield 4 Not Working

I got my R9 290x with Battlefield 4. I played it smoothly for 20-30 minutes before my screen goes blank, and I have to reset my pc (I can still hear the sounds just no visuals come up). Is my GPU the problem?

I was getting 95 degrees, so I used the artic cooler accelero 3. Got it down to 45-50 degrees. That didnt work either. I am using a 1kw power supply

Can you test the GPU in another system ?

Have you tried a different driver?
