Hello guys ,

I recently bought an ssd to replace my hdd boot drive . I cloned the drives and now everything is fine , I loaded bf4 into the ssd and fired it up to play a game or two . Keep in mind my pc has an i5 4460 , r9 270x , 8gb of ram and a samsung evo 250 256gb .
So I deployed to the action and all I could get was max 5fps due to awful stuttering , that also continued in the pre-deploy map and settings . Not because of my gpu or something , beccause it was runing 60fps ultra when it was installed in the hdd .

So , can someone help me identify the problem ? I suspect maybe the ram or something wrong with the ssd . Note again , ssd runs at full 525mb/s speed and all other games run as expected

Hey there, mitsosvazelos84.

I'm really baffled by this. While I was reading at first I'd have guessed - faulty RAM or a loose SATA connection of the SSD, but then I saw that everything seems to be working fine with all other games and there are no speed losses. This points to a problem with this game in particular if everything else is OK. Did you have any updates installed lately (of the game or GPU drivers), or changed any settings? Have you tried to reinstall it to see if the same thing happens?

Hey there to !
Well this game behaved like this even before the spring patch , and I don't think that the drivers are a problem , will check though . Reinstalling it right now ( started 2 hrs ago , 23% :( )

Hmm if it's taking so long to install, then there really might be an issue with the SSD. I'd recommend that you backup any important data which you might have on that SSD (if you haven't done so, yet), just to be on the safe side and test it with a diagnostic tool to see if anything alarming pops-up. I'd also check for loose connections - take a look if the SATA cable is plugged in properly.
