Battlefield 4 won't launch? (Windows 10 PC)

Hey guys, not sure if I should be posting this here, but I can't get Battlefield 4 to work. I downloaded the Origin client and everything, but it's just stuck at the blue loading bar every time I try to launch it from the Battlelog. I've tried to disable the "use plugin-free launching" setting, but that didn't work either. I've also tried launching the game from Firefox and IE, to no avail. Is there anything else I can do? For the record, here is my PC:


CPU: Intel Core i7 4790
GPU: MSI r9 390 Gaming
PSU: EVGA GQ 750w+ Gold Certified
RAM: 16 GB DDR3
OS: Windows 10 Home

Windows 10 is a mess, I had a lot of trouble with it.
Try updating your drivers.
You can use Diver Booster 3 to check for outdated drivers and update them.

Tried updating the drivers with Driver Booster 3; BF4 still doesn't launch. Any other ideas?


EDIT: Nevermind, I finally managed to launch the game. Thanks for helping out!

Yes.. Windows 10.. Repaired the game in origin, drivers are up to date..

Hi guys. I figured out another solution for windows 10, if non of the other solutions work for you.

-- Go into your battlefield directory (Mine): G:\Origin Games\Battlefield 4

-- Right click your battlefield4 Exe, Mine is displayed as "bf4" or "bf4_x86" and enter properties. Once you're there, enter the compatibility tab at the top.

-- After that, click the box and ensure you've UNSELECTED "run this program in compatibility mode", and UNSELECT "run this program as administrator".

-- That is how mine is now working again, I hope this works for you guys..

How did you manage to launch it? I have the same problem with Winwods 10!!

Worked for me , thanks matt. one little tick of a box ruined my evening last night. After an windows update is when this crap started, stupid widows 10 making us beta test there updates, Shame.

I went through with all of this, and the game still doesn't launch. Any ideas?

Not working again, going to try the admin fix and stop running the game in borderless.
Working again, had to go into my documents /bf4 forlder edit PROFSAVE profile. change fullscreen from 2 to 1 and save, then restart origin. disable run as admin on bf4.exe

All I had to do was disable the origin in-game overlay and it started working
