Battlefield V CPU I5-9600k

Hello,
looking to update to play BF V. the recommended CPU is the Intel Core i7 4790. Is the newer I5-9600k better than the recommended I7 or no? which would you go with?

It's not better in every way since it can process fewer threads at the same time but it is still better.

It can process multiple threads faster. So it doesn't really matter if it is processing 6-threads at a time vs the 8-threads of the i7, because it will still get it done faster.
