Battlefield V Open Beta, Opinions?

As of the 6th of September the game is available for anyone to try, i would like to hear some opinions on the new title. My comment is that the game looks more competitive but feels lighter, slower, less fun

I played one match last night (Premium Access subscription). At first it felt just like Battlefield 1, kinda boring after having played so much. Not surprising though. But then the new vehicles and weapons made it pretty fun. I noticed the cars were indestructible, something I hope they fix before launch. I think they will seeing how a tank can destroy a train/trolly but not an car. It was kind of weird running over a car with a tank and it not being scratched.

I noticed shadows and reflections and it made me wonder how the Real-time Ray Tracing will affect those.

My impression was it felt much heavier especially compared to BF1. Movement felt quite a bit different, my description would be "heavier". I am personally enjoying it more than BF1 I much prefer the classes set up the way they are now, I like the time to kill which is faster than bf1, I like the having less ammo I actually have a use for my pistol now. Overall I am enjoying it more than BF1, though I would've preferred a modern military shooter personally. I cant say i'm having as much fun as I did in BF3 or BF4.

Things I don't like. Particle effects are way overboard, it is very CPU heavy and not so easy to run, lots of bugs with rag dolls and animations, not too sure how I feel about movement yet need to play more, the snowy map I forget the name I do not like at all everybody stays in that stupid bridge, I used the tiger tank once and felt unstoppable might be a bit OP. I will probably have more complaints the more I play.

I only got to play the one stage that is very similar to BF1 amiens it's very CPU heavy and otherwise one of the same, could have just been the 2018 DLC instead of a new game.
DX12 made it crash right away and there where some other bugs like dead soldiers folding in half and starting to levitate on eye level.

How do you expect them to make a WW2 game substantially different than a WW1 game that came out a couple years ago? And still call it a BF game? I am personally surprised by how different it actually is. You could've called BF4 DLC to BF3. Or every COD game since COD 4 DLC to COD 4. You can make that argument with any game that has a sequel come out relatively close to the last. It's a ridiculous argument and a lazy way to criticize a game IMO.

I agree that D12 is useless and I saw the same glitched folded bodies all over the place too. CPU usage is nuts, im using a 1070 at 1440p with a 7700k and I am getting consistently above 70% usage on all threads.

Add blackjack and hookers?
Why do you have a beef with me or people like me that can't see whatever differences there might be?
We have come to a point where every shooter looks the same and plays the same, why should I be happy with that and not point out that it's same-o-same-o?

I do not have a problem with you, im just debating your point because I see it thrown around so much with no actual criticism of the game other than saying "reskin" or "it could've been DLC". If you want to explain why it could be DLC to BF1 go ahead, I will try to debate the other side. I just don't see how they could've made the game substantially different from BF1. People expect BF games to play a certain way, they cant just uproot their whole formula.

Every shooter does not look and play the same. BF games sorta look and play the same, with minor differences from game to game. Same for COD. I don't think games like CSGO, overwatch, insurgency, squad, PUBG, etc. Really have anything in common besides being shooters.

I probably wont buy the game either. But thats more for personal reasons than me thinking the game is terrible. I will play the beta however.
