I have just bought a blu-ray xl 100gb writable disc, I put it in my Pioneer BDR-S07XLT and load up imgburn, and it doesn't recognize the media. My drive is a few years old

are special drivers only able to write 100gb, if so, any suggestions?

I'm confused, windows says I have a Pioneer BDR-207, yet the site I bought it from says BDR-S07XLT, however they look exactly the same!

Indeed, it cost me £15, and its just a one off!

I don't think that drive can read disks that large.

BDR-S07XLT can read and write to BD discs (single-layer 25GB and dual-layer 50GB media). In addition, BDR-S07XLT boasts writing speeds up to 12x on BD discs.
