I used an older BeQuiet SFX PSU in an HTPC I built for a friend recently,
works very well. The system runs virtually silent. I'll look out for these
newer models as I want to build a similar system for myself. Thanks for
the report! Just hope they're not marked up too much by the time they
reach the UK.

Ian.

It's great to see updated SFX PSUs, especially with all the console-sized PCs on the horizon thanks to steam machines. There's a Lian Li case I was interested in building a modest console around that takes SFX PSUs, so having another option is never a bad thing!

Dang. I was super excited by this post and then found out that they're 400w and 300w.Still waiting on silverstone's promised 500-550w PSU. (Heck, even if they would release a beta one that was slightly larger than the SFX form factor...)

Darn. was super excited, until I read the wattage rating. 400w bronze isnt bad, but it comes in at $91. silverstone's sfx psu is 450w, gold rated instead of bronze, has modular cables, has "thin" cables avaliable for tiny builds without a lot of space, and is only $3 more expensive.
