Its a decent enough PSU at the right price.
Its made by fsp & the main letdown is the use of teapo chinese caps everywhere although they are all rated at 105c & are nowhere near as bad quality as many people would have you believe.

Certainly better than any generic unit or any of the corsair CX/vs series.

If you're restricted by market choice you could do worse , you can normally grab a seasonic or xfx model for a very similar price though.

Is the CS550M from Corsair better you think?

Out of the two I'd say yes simply because it has more power/headroom therefore less stress under load.

Still has primarily teapo caps but at least the main one is a Nippon.

These your only 2 options ?
Seems like your looking at gold rated units whereas you should be able to get a top tier quality bronze model around the same price.

If its in budget its far far far better than the others.
