Question BE QUIET SYSTEM P OR XILENCE?

im gonna order in bulk from germany to sweden because they are cheaper there. the fan probably is more silent under load in be quiet but on a low Power system they probably wont be pushed over 50 percent load then it wont matter. be quiet usually is better quality but the board used in this psu is according to some Reviews used in be quiet units to.
thanks

What is best value Xilence Performance a+ 430 w or Be quiet system Power 9 400 w for low Power system?
Both manufactured by same Company.

They're not the same OEM, and even if they were that wouldn't be a reason to assume they're the same.

Ford makes the Mustang, but also the Fiesta. Does that make them about the same quality?

The beQuiet is FSP. The Xilence is Huizhou Xin Hui Yuan Tech .

Both are 230V only PSUs, so that automatically puts them both on my crap list. But neither one is a bomb.

The beQuiet, of course, is going to be significantly better. Xilence exists merely as a "budget line" for Listan.

yeah but still the a series seems alot better than the c series. the a series holds 85 plus effiency on full load. its also listed as a trusted psu on some sites and got good test results. Another site puts the xilence a + on b tier while they put be quiet system Power 9 400 on c but i guess that is a mistake.

jonnyguru as usual your right but is the xilence a series really that bad? the Reviews i read was mostly from german sites but it seem to be one of the units that is ok but not good to me.

You can do a lot worse. Just whenever you see a PSU that has the "230V EU" designation, that means they cheaped out on the primary side of the PSU so it can only handle half the current of a unit that can run a full range of input voltage. When the PSU can't handle full range, they tend to latch off during brown outs.

That said, Listan is a good company and they stand behind their products in the event of a failure.
