Fighters game without continues?

No, but I'm sure there is some genetic freak that can do it!
That wasn't the plan, though. These games were supposed to empty your
pockets! :)

Well, I'm almost sure there's nobody that can do it. But maybe I'm
wrong.

Here is a video of a guy going through a game much harder than Aero
Fighters. Click on the link that says 157MB on the top of this page to
watch it. It is 157meg, so broadband is recommended. :)

And there is always:

Watch for wrap.

1. What is the name of the game?

2. What freeware program can I use to rotate the damn thing so I can view it
normally?

It's a Japanese shooter from Cave called Mushihimesama.
It's pretty new, so its not in MAME.

Yes, I know about marp, the thing is that I find many of those scores
hard to believe. There's certainly cheating involved in some of them.

For example, if you use a program to slow your cpu down to a point
that it's considerably slow when there are tons of sprites on screen,
it becomes much easier to avoid bullets. And I'm sure there are a
million more ways.

Tell me this isn't a machine. The guy must be using a direct wire
brain-to-chip interface to get that kind of precision 😵 Or he has
slow-time a la Matrix.

It *seems* human. I like how he throws a bomb when it's clear that no
path can save him. And he spends all his lives in the final boss (and
the last one in a specially reckless fashion) just for fun, keeping it
alive with a small remainder of energy. What machine would do that?

I remember another video featuring a oriental guy playing in a game
where he had to push buttons according to some classical piano music
(well, in practice it was the other way around: pushing the right button
would kill the attacker and play the right note). It was amazing too.

I feel tired after seeing these things.
