I cannot tell if it is the cord or the headphones themselves but no sound comes out of the right speaker unless I move the right side of my headphones. If I reverse the cord and move the right of the headphones again, not much happens, but I rarely hear a kind of static sound that doesn't even last a second when I do it. Anyone else have this problem!?

Solution
If I follow your description correctly I think it is the cord.

When in the "reverse mode" (i.e., right speaker works) just wiggle, twist the opposite end that was in place when the sound is absent.

Work from the far plug back to the earphones focusing on the plug end. Gently wiggle, bend, twist, etc. Should not be hard to find a spot where sound cuts out or otherwise distorts.
