I understand the Asrock Beebox goesn't have a huge following yet, even at Asrock, so I submit my issue to your corporate wisdom: My N3000 unit doesn't support USB ports during Win7 install, so, when my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse quit working at screen 1 of the Windows installer, I did the stupidest thing I could do - I started trying other USB keyboards. Killed all the USB ports, found the CLRMOS1 pads on MB and shorted them for 10 sec. Now, no integrated video output. Hoping someone can steer me to a solution.
PS I have now slipstreamed SP1 and USB Patcher drivers onto my iso stick. Is that all I need to do to prep my OS for install?

I think ideally, that was what you needed - to slipstream the drivers into the install media. That is usually how I work around those issues with devices needed during install that does not have native drivers.

As for the results of CLRMOS1(?), I'm unable to advise and I will be watching with interest to see if a solution emerges.

Sorry for your troubles. I'm sure you looked forward to playing with that toy.

As a matter of interest, were you planning to use the VESA mount to mount it on the back of a monitor? I've always been wondering if it was possible to "double-mount" (excuse my invented term) both a NUC-type PC and the monitor stand to the VESA mounts.

Thanks, Karsten, for confirming the ISO approach. I do not plan to use the VESA mount. I got this machine to serve as a WMC server for the eight months/year when my Dish subscription is on pause. That will allow mw to upgrade my main system to Win10, and still use my HomeRunHD tuner to record to my HDD and playback through my Xbox 360. This may be an inelegant solution, but it gave me an excuse to get this "toy", keep ESPN for the Fall, and keep my annual Dish bill below $300. Hardware costs for toys don't count, kinda like the calories in broken cookies.
