Been out of it for a while, should I upgrade?

Ok i took about a 1 year Hiatus from gaming and I wanted to get back into it but wanted to know if my Rig was still up to par... Current system.

Athlon 64 2800+ (2 Ghz) Socket 754
Epox Motherboard
Radeon X850XT AGP
512 Megs 333 Mhz. RAM
90 Gig SATA

I want to get heavy into WOW, Oblivion, and maybe some of the new FPS's. I know I'm weak on memory (stole some memory from this machine for work) but other than that do you think I can last 6 more months?

Oblivion is a power hog. Your system can probably handle it at medium quality and you'll probably get about 26fps (average). Oblivion is one of those games that can even bring a high end system to it's knees. I haven't played the game yet, I'm waiting for an expansion to come out first. I believe Prey is another very demanding game, but I could be wrong since I'm not much of a gamer. As far as I know WoW isn't very demanding and your system should handle it fine.

You can last 6 more months as long as you can accept medium quality graphics in current FPS games. You should be fine with F.E.A.R.
