Beep and freeze

Ok, so my processor burned out the other day, and i rebuilt my computer with a new processor (amd fx-8320) and a new motherboard(ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 990 fx). I kept the original ram, hardrive, graphics card and power supply.

Ever since i rebuilt it my computer boots really slowly(about 1-2 mins, which is slower than it was) and now it beeps and freezes when i play a game. Ive checked all my temps and they seem to be sitting around 40-50 c. Ive ran a ram test and it checks out ok. Im not sure what to do at this point. Any help is much appreciated.

Is that the same exact board you had? If not, did you do a fresh install of windows? Typically windows doesn't do well, when you switch a motherboard to a different model.

No i didnt do that, I will give that a shot.

Ok so i did a fresh install of windows and that improved the boot time. However i was still having the freezing problem, after a trying several things, i was able to find out that my nvidia 3d drivers (specifically 3d vision) were the reason fro the freezing. I uninstalled these and things are working perfectly again.

Ok people im back, everything seemed to be working fine after the fresh windows install and the deletion of those 3d drivers. But now the freezing is back when i play an intensvie game, no bsod or sounds from the tower. Temps are stil in a good place, I have no clue where to go from here.

Forgot to mention ive ran every test i could come up with, including memtest86 as well as a hard drive scan and nothing is coming back as failing.
