Hey Guys....

I have had a rough few weeks with my PC. I was getting this constant beep beep through my speakers (not through the MB speaker) and upon investigating I found my CPU was getting reallllllll hot so I thought it was a CPU temp.

Anyway I went out and got a new CPU and MB because it was time for a new one anyway. I have reinstalled with fresh windows and now the beep is back and its sending me nuts.

CPU temp on this new one is not getting above 50C under load which I think is good.

Specs:
Case - Fractal Define R4
Mobo - Asus VII Hero
CPU - i7 4790k
GPU - Asus HD 7970
Cooler Master Nepton AIO CPU watercooler
1x SSD 1x Sata
650w corsair.

Can anyone shed some light on this. Doing research it all seems to be about bios beeps and the ones I have found with my symptoms have not been answered.....

Well what you could do is:

Plug the Speaker out of the Ports on the MB.
Check Bios and see if you can disconnect it.
Or run a System Fail test to see if its a "Error"

50 c is pretty good Temp if its under a good amount of load.

But is it a constant BEEP*** or is it just sometimes?

It is completely random. It seems to beep more when under load which is what is making me really think it has something to do with a temp warning or motherboard.

Its definitely not a windows sound.

beeping can be the heads of the hard drive crashing if it an older drive. start with unpluging the drive see if the error stops. if not slowly unplug case fans. then pull the gpu to see if it a bad grounding issue. also with new mb make sure it has the newest bios file. beeping over speakers can be wifi too close or a cell phone.

I should add this beep also happens through USB headphones.

It definitely happens more as the computer gets under load. EG starting up a game in the beginning beeps once every 5 minutes. After 20 mins of play it beeps once every 5 seconds.

Hi Makkem,

I didnt even think of this. I will look through the fan part of bios was focused on temp warnings.
