The computer itself makes a beeping noise whilst running certain games, sound seems to originate from the CPU.

The noise is a high-pitch, continuous screech (kind of like a digital ringing in your ear) which seems to come from the CPU. The noise changes in pitch after around 5 seconds, then after roughly 10 seconds it returns to the previous pitch.
It starts when "DayZ standalone" finishes loading to the main menu, and immediately stops once I alt-tab out, currently testing other games for similar results.

CPU: intel i7-4790k 4.00GHz (Water cooled)
GPU: GTX 760 (fan cooled)
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 10 64bit, x64 based processor

Temperatures are all normal when the beeping occurs.

Update: Games also affected
Arma 2
Arma 3
Rocket League
Rust (only very, very slightly)

Well if you are hearing what the video I linked down is telling you, you my friend are a victim of Coil whine

Here's a video to enlighten you on the subject.

As for fixes, I don't know what you can do, you can try and RMA the motherboard or the PSU.

Solution
It does seem like this was the cause, and after some thorough triangulation I believe the GPU is the delinquent.

I don't need a fix, as I don't find the noise that annoying, neither can I hear it very well with headphones on. I was just making sure it wasn't to the detriment of my computer. As long as it's harmless, I can live with it.

Worst case scenario I'll just buy a mile long extension cord and run my computer from halfway across the country.

That's extreme xD

If it bothers you that much you can use closed back headphones and it'll go away.
