I bought a Dell XPS 8940, which I only use for office work. I was hoping to be able to hear 'beeps' when new emails come in outlook. I really don't need external speakers, and the monitor hooked up to the computer doesn't have built-in speakers.
I was hoping to be able to buy some internal beep speakers (something like this). Would that work? I'm sure internal speakers used to be able to play windows beep sounds, but I'm not sore sure that is still possible.
Also, I looked at the motherboard to see if I could even connect such a beep speakers, and didn't see any connectors. Are there connectors which I failed to see, or is there really no way to add an internal beep speaker to my XPS 8940?
Thanks!
