The noise is driving me crazy! I started noticing it around a few weeks ago. It varies noise level and length everytime.
I don't even see a pattern in it's sound-making. It does it occasionally while playing games - or at least not loud enough to break my concentration. It was doing it every few seconds when I was watching anime, but barely with YouTube videos. It's not doing it now as I type this. The only consistent thing about the noise is it starts after my computer has been on for a couple hours.
I stressed tested everything. But I can't seem to narrow down to what's producing the noise.
First I thought it was GPU coil whine so I stressed tested that with PrecisionX. Nothing.
Then I tested SSD and HDD with Crystal Disk Mark. Nothing.
Also used prime95 if that makes a difference
GAHHH! IT HAPPENED ONCE JUST NOW AS I SWITCHED TABS
SPECS:
GTX 780 SC -refurbished
i5 4690K (oc'd with MSI OC Genie)
EVGA 700 B2
Kingston V300 120gb SSD
Seagate 1TB HDD
Update #1 : The noises seems to have stopped or died down after posting this... I swear my computer is plotting against me.
