[SOLVED] Beeping Error Sound

Hello so I have actually never done anything with a computer but recently i have set ine up that i got and when it booted i noticed it only had 4gbs of ram so i went ahead and bought an 8gb 1333mhz ddr3 sdram from newegg and put in my computer no problem. But when i plugged it all back in it started beeping. I had no clue what to do so i just turned it off and i have no clue what to do here are the specs of the computer:
Gpu: Nvidia GeForce 8400 gs (needs changed bad )
Cpu: Intel I5 2380p
Motherboard: Intel Dh61cr
And thats all i know please help

Sounds like incompatible memory. What is the exact make/model of the memory you are trying to use?

You bought server ram instead of ram for a desktop system. SAMSUNG 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ECC Registered DDR3 1333 Server Memory Model M393B1K70CH0-YH9.

You need DDR3 non registered unbuffered 240 pin modules. Also, if you only want or need 8GB get 2x4GB so you run dual channel mode for more responsive system than a single module will provide. 2x4GB is about the same price as 1x8GB. If you buy DDR3 1600, it will downclock to 1333 to match your CPUs max ram speed and to use it at 1600 you would need a Core i 3000 series CPU.
