So guys. I recently bought a pair of logitech g930 wireless headphones. I recoginized fast, that the headset starts beeping only when connected to usb. It was fine on wireless. So i got refund and bought a pair of steelseries elite. And here we go again:
The steelseries headset ourputs in a micro usb cable. This cable needs to be plugged in the included steelseries usb soundcard. And here is the deal: The steelseries USB soundcard has 3 input slots: a micro USB and two 3.5mm mic and speaker slots. When i plug the headphones direct in the usb slot, i hear it beeping VERY quietly but still annoying. But when i put the headphones cable in the two 3.5mm inputs (there is also a cable included which can be plugged over the usb headset cable and transforms the the usb output in two 3.5 mm outputs),I hear no noise. But the direct USB variant is better because the headset has some useful lights which can not get power if plugged with 2x 3.5mm. So here is my question : Why does it only beeps when directly connected to USB. The only thing which gets additionaly transfered with USB is electrical power. What is causing the headset to beep? please help me and appologize my bad English, it's not my first language
