Beeping Memory: Intel DG41TX with hyperx fury 4GB

I just recently bought a new Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB DDR3, when I change it with my old memory on my motherboard, Intel DG41TX, it beeps 3 times. My computer won't boot. I tried changing slot and clean up dust, it won't work.

Make sure you've pushed it all the way in.

And what's your motherboard? It might need 2 RAM sticks to run. What was your old memory, as in how many sticks?

i got 2 old memory i replace 1 with fury. it dont work. my old memory i cant tell which model but i know its kingston. it has 2 slots

You bought one that's on the list? Not all 4GB modules are compatible with an old motherboard; what part number did you buy? Does it have 16 ICs and is the density of the ICs 2Gbit?

I'm still new on this so I'm not sure what you saying but this should do something.

Return the RAM
