beeping noise on pc and no display (NO OS installed)

i am reusing a acer mobo when i plug power into the pc it then makes a beep noise that goes for 3 seconds also when i press the power button it makes a beep as well and then everything starts as normal but a i get no dislpay note has NO OS on it
