So I built this pc, and everything was fine until i started overclocking. The first two times I was fine, but then I got a bad overclock on cpu and ram.
Now the system turns on, the fans spin, but the screen is blank and there is this weird high pitched continuous long beeping noise coming from my gigabyte mobo.
I read the manual, it means that ram is seated badly, but i tried reseating it multiple times.
Also I have tried reseating the cmos battery, taking everything out apart from cpu, reseating ram, taking out GPU, disconnecting all fans.
I have a gigabyte am2+ mobo, a phenom, a gtx 560 and a 460w psu.
But I have 2 amd only and two regular ram sticks, could that be the problem? Since I changed ram settings and voltage and over clocked it, could it break the bios or something.
I have tried using other slots, booting with one stick of ram and without any ram at all.
Thanks in advance.
