Hello everyone, so im getting into the computer scene i do have some basic understanding of what to do so im not a complete idiot lol.

I picked up this computer for 50 bucks at a garage sale and i thought id use it as my first rig to customise. My question is, im not sure what i should upgrad too? I don't have a whole lot of money and im not looking for a top of the range pc, just something that would run black ops 4 when it comes out, doesn't have to run it on ultra settings but i don't want it to run at minimum either.

Where should i start? My specs:

Operating system - Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Cpu - AMD FX-6300
Ram - 16.0GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 667MHz
Motherboard - ASRock 980DE3/U3S3
Graphics - 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon r9 200 Series
Storage - 931GB Seagate ST10000DM003-9YN162 (SATA)

The issue is the processor, its fairly old and likely wont stand up well to Bo4 when it comes out, and it has a limited upgrade path.
Can you find out what specific r9-2xx series card you have? There is a pretty big difference between the low and high end.

2460 (1920x1080@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner)

this is all is says in a program i downloaded called "speccy"

While it dosent give me a specific card, based on those specs I would imagine its something like an R9-270(x).
Overall, its a decent system for 50 bucks, but in order to fully upgrade it you would basically rebuild it (new CPU, RAM, Motherboard, and possibly GPU).

What your budget? Looking at the specs for Bo4, the GPU should be fine, but the processor would be a bit weak.

For starters, you could go with a pretty decent Ryzen build for that price, something along the lines of this:

Motherboard: Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard ($107.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($129.99 @ Newegg Business)
Total: $402.87

Save the extra money and put it to a GPU later on if you need it.
